K.T. Palmer and Tom Darlington as a master-planned community. Land sales commenced in 1955 and
homebuilding followed shortly thereafter in 1958. Typical of Carefree's character are its street names--
Tranquil Trail, Easy Street, Ho-and-Hum Roads and Long Rifle, Stagecoach and Bloody Basin-- which reflect

This spacious and comfortable home sits on over an acre in Carefree, Arizona. It is 3200 square feet with 3
bedrooms plus a den, 4.5 baths, pool, spa, a billiard table, basketball hoop, 3 hole putting green & grassy
area, 2-car carport, RV parking, great desert and mountain views, and over 1400 square feet of covered
patios and decks as well as several open patio areas for taking in the AZ sun.
The main level of the home features a great room with gourmet kitchen (stainless steel appliances, gas stove,
dishwasher, compactor, walk-in pantry), slate gas fireplace, flat panel smart TV, DVD player, sofa, comfy love
seat, dining table, breakfast bar, a powder room, two sets of sliding doors to a huge upper deck area, and wide
open views. The upper, covered deck has plenty of seating, outdoor dining tables, gas BBQ, and great views
of the desert, pool & spa, Black Mountain, and Pinnacle Peak. It’s a great place to dine or relax and watch the
sunset over Black Mountain.
There are two master suites. The main master suite has a huge private patio with view of the pool/spa and
backyard, large steam shower with three shower heads and bench, a soaking tub dual sinks, walk-in closet,
laundry, TV, sofa, and great lighting. The yoga room has a ¾ bath (sink, toilet, shower), TV and DVD/VCR
The guest bedroom is on the lower level with a full bath down the hall. On this level, there is also a game room
